A good air conditioning installation starts before anything goes on the wall. A system that is too small runs flat out and never catches up, and one that is too big costs more to buy and cycles on and off. Position, pipe runs and drainage matter just as much to how well it cools, heats and lasts.

That is why every All Good install starts with an on-site assessment and a detailed quote. The quote is a fixed flat fee of $199 for new customers and $189 for returning customers, credited if you go ahead. Our licensed, ARCtick certified installers carry out split system air conditioner installation, ducted air conditioning installation and air conditioner replacement across the ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC and WA.

    A locally based technician arrives at the scheduled time. You'll need to be home to let them in. Anything beyond the booked service is discussed and quoted in writing before it goes ahead.

How much does aircon installation cost?

Aircon installation cost depends on the type and size of the system, how far the indoor and outdoor units are apart, the wall type and how easy the access is. A back-to-back split system air conditioner installation costs the least, and longer pipe runs or upper-storey installs add to it. Our on-site quote gives you a fixed price for your home before any work starts.

Ducted air conditioning cost depends on the size of your home, the capacity of the unit, the number of zones and outlets, and the access in your roof space. Because every home is different, we design the system on-site and give you a detailed ducted air conditioning installation cost in your quote.

A technician visits your home, assesses the rooms, checks where the units and pipework can go and recommends the right system. The installation quote is a fixed flat fee of $199 for new customers and $189 for returning customers, and the quote fee is credited if you go ahead with the install.

The right size depends on the room’s floor area and ceiling height, insulation, window size and which way the room faces, as well as your local climate. A system that is too small runs constantly and one that is too big wastes energy. We work out the correct capacity during the on-site assessment.

A split system suits one room or an open-plan area and is the lowest-cost option to install. A multi-split runs several indoor units from one outdoor unit. Ducted air conditioning heats and cools the whole home through ceiling outlets, with zones so you only run the rooms you are using. We’ll explain which fits your home and budget in your quote.

A straightforward split system installation is usually completed in a few hours. Installs with long pipe runs, difficult access or several indoor units take longer, and a ducted air conditioning installation typically takes a day or more. We’ll confirm the timing in your quote.

Yes. Air conditioner replacement is a large part of what we do. We safely recover the refrigerant from the old system, remove it and install the new one, reusing existing pipework and positions where they are suitable.

<p>Yes. In Australia, anyone installing a split or ducted system must hold a refrigerant handling licence, and manufacturers can refuse warranty claims on systems installed without one. All Good installers are licensed and ARCtick certified.</p>

Yes. Someone 18 or older should be there to provide access, confirm where the units will go and approve the work. We’ll run through the controls with you before we leave.
