Samsung specialists
Samsung makes split, multi-split and ducted air conditioners, and its ducted systems in particular are in a lot of Australian homes. Our licensed technicians service, clean, repair and install Samsung air conditioners, with a fixed price agreed before any work starts.
Every Samsung system
Whether it’s a zoned ducted system through the whole house or a WindFree split in the bedroom, our technicians know how Samsung systems are built and what tends to go wrong with them. These are the Samsung systems we work on most.
Whole-home ducted reverse cycle Samsung systems, serviced, cleaned and repaired.
Wall-mounted Samsung splits, including WindFree models, from single bedrooms to living areas.
One outdoor unit running several indoor heads. We service every head and the shared outdoor unit.
Ceiling-mounted Samsung cassettes for open-plan rooms, offices and shops.
Ducted systems that send air only to the rooms in use. We fix zones that won't open and uneven airflow.
Setting up and fault-finding the SmartThings app, remotes and wall controllers when they stop responding.
Samsung systems that are out of warranty and starting to play up. We repair them where it's worth it and tell you honestly when it isn't.
Sizing and installing new Samsung ducted and split air conditioning, with a fixed price before we start.
Common Samsung faults
Most Samsung problems start small: an error code on the display, a zone that won’t cool, a drip from the indoor unit. These are the faults we fix most often, and what usually causes them.
A code on the indoor display or wall controller means the system has logged a fault. We read the code, find the cause and fix it, from sensor faults to communication errors.
Weak airflow or lukewarm air usually comes down to a blocked filter, dirty coils, low refrigerant or a failing part. We test the system and tell you exactly what’s wrong.
Water marks under a ducted unit, or drips from a split, are almost always a blocked or badly graded drain line. We clear it, check the fall and stop it happening again.
A blank wall controller or an app that has dropped offline may have a wiring, board or network fault. We trace it so the fix lasts.
When to service
The best time for a Samsung service is just before you need the system most. A check a few weeks ahead catches a tired part, a blocked drain or a zone that isn’t opening before the first heatwave or cold snap, when everyone is calling at once.
Each season’s service focuses on the mode you’re about to rely on, and you get a written report at the end.
Get your split or ducted Samsung cooling properly before the first hot week.
Make sure heating mode, defrost and airflow are working before the cold sets in.

Get the clarity you need
Once a year for most homes, ideally just before summer or winter. In between, clean the filters yourself every few weeks when the system is in heavy use.
Keeping the system maintained is part of looking after your warranty. Every visit comes with a written report, so keep it with your purchase paperwork in case you ever need to make a claim.
An error code means the system has logged a fault. Turn it off at the remote or controller, wait a few minutes and restart it. If the code comes back, leave it off and book a check.
Turn it off with the remote, switch the power off at the isolator or circuit breaker for a few minutes, then turn it back on. A reset can clear a one-off glitch. If the fault returns, the system needs a technician, not another reset.
A split system usually takes about an hour per indoor unit. Ducted systems take a little longer, because we also check the ducts, zones and controls.
Samsung air conditioners only: ducted, split, multi-split and cassette systems. We don’t repair Samsung phones, fridges or other appliances.
If the system is under about ten years old and the fault is minor, a repair is usually worth it. For older systems facing a big repair, we’ll give you both prices so you can decide.
