Mitsubishi specialists
Mitsubishi Electric and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries are two separate companies, and between them they make some of the most popular air conditioners in Australia. We look after both. Our licensed technicians service, clean, repair and install Mitsubishi air conditioners, with a fixed price agreed before any work starts.
Every Mitsubishi system
Whether it’s a Mitsubishi Electric split in the bedroom or a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries ducted system through the whole house, our technicians know how both are built and what tends to go wrong with them. These are the Mitsubishi systems we work on most.
Wall-mounted MSZ-AP, EF and LN series splits, from 2.5kW bedroom units to large living-area models.
Avanti and Bronte series wall splits, serviced, cleaned and repaired.
One outdoor unit running several indoor heads. We service every head and the shared outdoor unit.
Ducted reverse cycle from both brands, including zoned systems run from a wall controller.
Compact ducted bulkhead units and ceiling cassettes, common in apartments and open-plan rooms.
Setting up and fault-finding Wi-Fi control, remotes and wall controllers when they stop talking to the system.
Non-inverter and early inverter models from either brand. We repair them where it's worth it and tell you honestly when it isn't.
Sizing and installing new Mitsubishi split systems and ducted air conditioning, with a fixed price first.
Common Mitsubishi faults
Most Mitsubishi problems start small: a blinking light, a drip, a remote showing a symbol you don’t recognise. These are the faults we fix most often, and what usually causes them.
A flashing green or orange light is how a Mitsubishi reports a fault. We count the blink code, find the cause and fix it, from sensor faults to communication errors.
A Mitsubishi that blows cold in heat mode, or barely cools, usually has blocked filters, dirty coils, low refrigerant or a failing part. We test it and tell you exactly what’s wrong.
Drips from the indoor unit are almost always a blocked or badly graded drain line. We clear it, check the fall and stop it happening again.
A unit stuck on Dry or Fan, or one that ignores the remote, may only need the settings corrected, or may have a failed receiver board. We check both.
When to service
The best time for a Mitsubishi service is just before you need the system most. A check a few weeks ahead catches a tired part or a blocked drain before the first heatwave or cold snap, when everyone is calling at once.
Each season’s service focuses on the mode you’re about to rely on, and you get a written report at the end.
Get your split or ducted Mitsubishi cooling properly before the first hot week.
Make sure heating mode, defrost and airflow are working before the cold sets in.

Get the clarity you need
The main ones are the mode symbols: a snowflake for cooling, a sun for heating, a water drop for dry mode and a fan for fan-only. If the unit won’t heat or cool, check it hasn’t been left on Dry or Fan. The manual for your remote lists the rest.
No. They are separate companies with different models, parts and warranties. We service, repair and install both, so tell us which name is on your unit when you book.
Once a year for most homes, ideally just before summer or winter. In between, clean the filters yourself every few weeks when the system is in heavy use.
A flashing light means the unit has logged a fault. Turn it off at the remote, wait a few minutes and restart it. If the light keeps flashing, leave it off and book a check.
Turn it off with the remote, switch the power off at the isolator or circuit breaker for a few minutes, then turn it back on. A reset can clear a one-off glitch. If the fault returns, the system needs a technician, not another reset.
A standard back-to-back installation is usually finished the same day. Longer pipe runs, multi-split and ducted systems take more time, and we tell you how long when we quote.
If the system is under about ten years old and the fault is minor, a repair is usually worth it. For older systems facing a big repair, we’ll give you both prices so you can decide.
