Panasonic specialists
Panasonic split and ducted air conditioners are in a lot of Australian homes, and we look after the whole range. Our licensed technicians service, clean, repair and install Panasonic air conditioners, with a fixed price agreed before any work starts.
Every Panasonic system
Whether it’s a single split in the bedroom or a ducted system through the whole house, our technicians know how Panasonic systems are built and what tends to go wrong with them. These are the Panasonic systems we work on most.
Wall-mounted Aero series and earlier Panasonic inverter splits, from 2.5kW bedroom units up.
One outdoor unit running several indoor heads. We service every head and the shared outdoor unit.
Whole-home ducted reverse cycle Panasonic systems, including zoned installations.
Low-wall Panasonic units for rooms where a high-wall split won't fit, like under a window.
Ceiling-mounted Panasonic cassettes that spread air in four directions, common in open-plan homes and shops.
Setting up and fault-finding the Comfort Cloud app, remotes and wall controllers when they stop responding.
Non-inverter and early inverter models. We repair them where it's worth it and tell you honestly when it isn't.
Sizing and installing new Panasonic split and ducted air conditioning, plus relocating existing units.
Common Panasonic faults
Most Panasonic problems start small: a flashing timer light, a drip, a room that won’t quite get cool. These are the faults we fix most often, and what usually causes them.
A blinking timer light is how a Panasonic tells you it has stored a fault code. We read the code, find the cause and fix it, from sensor faults to communication errors.
Weak airflow or lukewarm air usually comes down to blocked filters, dirty coils, low refrigerant or a failing part. We test the system and tell you exactly what’s wrong.
Drips from the indoor unit are almost always a blocked or badly graded drain line. We clear it, check the fall and stop it happening again.
Rattling, buzzing or a musty smell on start-up points to loose parts, a worn fan or mould on the coil. A deep clean or repair usually sorts it out.
When to service
The best time for a Panasonic service is just before you need the system most. A check a few weeks ahead catches a tired part or a blocked drain before the first heatwave or cold snap, when everyone is calling at once.
Each season’s service focuses on the mode you’re about to rely on, and you get a written report at the end.
Get your split or ducted Panasonic cooling properly before the first hot week.
Make sure heating mode, defrost and airflow are working before the cold sets in.

Get the clarity you need
Once a year for most homes, ideally just before summer or winter. In between, clean the filters yourself every few weeks when the system is in heavy use.
Keeping the system maintained is part of looking after your warranty. Every visit comes with a written report, so keep it with your purchase paperwork in case you ever need to make a claim.
A flashing timer light means the unit has logged a fault. Turn it off at the remote, wait a few minutes and restart it. If the light keeps flashing, leave it off and book a repair.
Turn it off with the remote, switch the power off at the isolator or circuit breaker for a few minutes, then turn it back on. A reset can clear a one-off glitch. If the fault returns, the system needs a technician, not another reset.
A split system usually takes about an hour per indoor unit. Ducted systems take a little longer, because we also check the ducts, zones and controls.
Split, multi-split, ducted, floor console and ceiling cassette systems, including units controlled through the Comfort Cloud app.
If the system is under about ten years old and the fault is minor, a repair is usually worth it. For older systems facing a big repair, we’ll give you both prices so you can decide.
